Can you further explain the concept of a co-working space?

It is a physical working space which provides access to a designated work area in a shared common room, with other GlobalCoWork members. You’ll have ample space to set up your laptop, computer for any given day, In addition to the Wi-Fi and other amenities offered in the facility.

What are the operating hours of the DFW Global CoWork?

Our DFW Global CoWorking staff are generally onsite at between 8 AM – 10 PM local time Monday through Friday, 10 AM – 10 PM on Sat and Sunday 1 PM – 8 PM

  • I noticed that your main hours of service are from 8am-6pm but then they have 6pm-10pm as additional hours, how does that work? Yes! So our 8am to 6pm hours of operation are designed to allow client members to use the facilities within hours that suit regular time frames. The 6pm to 10pm hours of operation are for clients who are in need of working beyond day time hours of operation. We specifically are aware that these hours of operation are also for work meetings and students who may need to use the facilities to carry out their school work.

Do you offer day passes?

Yes. You may purchase a Day Pass and spend a day with us and receive access to WIFI and our other amenities as available.

Becoming a Member of the DFWGC

 

Where do I sign up to become a member?

We are glad you asked, well it is a pretty straightforward process, all you have to do is go to www.dfwglobalcowork.com and click on the top right icon that says “Become a member.”

What are the perks of being a member?

Being a member at the DFW Global CoWork means that you will have access to our high speed internet, network of community events, kitchen amenities as well as a range of our classes and activities. Be sure to stay tuned to our membership insider community board as we will send you emails about our happy hours, and all the events we have planned.

How do I update my payment or account information?

You simply login into your account online, and click on the payment account information tab where you can make updates to your account.

When do memberships begin?

Our membership billing cycle plans begin on the 1st of every the month.

What if I don’t want a one year membership and just want to try, it out for a few months?

We are very flexible, in that we offer half a year memberships for the entrepreneur, business, startup or individual who is unsure if they want to make the DFW Global CoWork their work place of residence. We want to ensure that as a professional you feel as comfortable as possible without the fear or concern of having to commit to a 1 year membership.

Do I need to reserve a seat online before I physically come into the DFW Global CoWorking facility?

No, we operate on a first come, first served basis for our seating arrangements. We only require that you reserve the conference room in advance, before coming into the facility.

How do I make a payment if I am not a member and want to use a workstation?

To make a payment, you simply go online to www.dfwglobalcowork.com and you select the workspace that you would like to use, and make a payment following the prompting on the screen.

Will I be penalized if I cancel my membership?

No, at the DFW Global CoWork members have the liberty to cancel their membership at any time online but all cancellations will only fall into effect at the end of the month. There are no penalty fees, and no refunds can be issued for membership cancellations.

Does the DFW Global CoWork have access to a printer that copies and scans documentation?

Yes, please speak to our receptionist to assist you with if you wish to print, scan or copy any sort of documentation. 

Conference Rooms

 

How many people can fit into your conference rooms?

We have two conference rooms. Generally, our conference rooms accommodate teams of 6–10.

Do I need to pay in advance to reserve one of the conference rooms?

Yes, in order to book or reserve one of our conference rooms you simply go online to our website and click the booking link and select the conference room you would like to reserve. And you will be prompted to make a payment, upon your room selection. (please note: conference room bookings can only be reserved for a minimum of 2 hours).

Can my mail and packages be delivered onsite?

Yes, we offer a virtual membership package at an additional fee of $40 per month.

Events & Passes

 

Does the DFW Global CoWork offer special events?

The Global CoWork is an inclusive community with a range of monthly events that cater to to the everyday entrepreneur, startup or business professional. We offer skills building workshop classes, millennial happy hours, and exciting special events that uniquely cater to anyone looking to make new friends or learn about the world around them.

Event types include:
  • Global Entrepreneurship Skills Building Events (GESB) These monthly workshop events are intended provide aspiring and established entrepreneurs with professional development opportunities and the practical skills they need to to build their business(es).
  • Millennial WorkHappy Hour Events These Friday evening events happen on a bi-monthly basis (unless notified otherwise) and are open to the general public, especially young professionals. Guests are able to socialize, and meet local business leaders, and others like themselves in a relaxed setting. Music, non-alcoholic beverages, and finger foods are provided. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
  • Special Events DFW Global CoWork hosts special events covering social, economic, political, legal, and technological change. These are great moments to learn, stay informed, and get to know your community better.

Membership Plans

 

What membership plans does the DFW Global CoWork offer?

Workspace Memberships 

Virtual Office

This plan includes a dedicated mailbox, as well as access to the workspace facility during hours of operation, as well as 2 monthly credits for reserving workspaces and conference rooms and event discounts. Additional reservations may always be made for an additional fee. It does not include access to Shared WorkDesk spaces.

Shared WorkDesk

This is a shared workspace in a common area. When you purchase a SharedDesk, there is no need to reserve a particular workspace in advance each day; you can come and go as needed and use any available desk. This plan includes access to our digital member network, events discounts and services, 24/7 keycard access at your primary building, as well as 2 monthly credits for reserving workspaces and conference rooms.

Shared WorkDesk (Nights + Weekends)

This plan has all the benefits of of the Shared WorkDesk plan accept members on this plan may ONLY use the facility from 6pm – 10:00pm daily on weekdays, and during normal operating hours on the weekends.

Shared WorkDesk plus Virtual Office

This plan combines the all the benefits of of the Shared WorkDesk and Virtual Office plan
